Loving the Library

It is with much excitement that we went and explored the library!  The space is lovely and we can't wait for the shade sail to arrive so we can enjoy sitting outside to read as well.

When Mrs McCully was teaching us she showed us how to draw a self portrait.  First we started with making the shape of the face and we drew light lights from the top to bottom in the centre and side to side in the centre.

Then we were shown where to place the eyes and the eyebrows.  Next we found the placement for our nose and eyes.  Finally we drew in our hair and added some clothing.

The hardest part for me was drawing the eyes.

New Kitchen Assistants

When Justine was sick and unable to run the Breakfast Club on Thursday in Week 3 Kiianah and Ahlants volunteered for the job!

"It was lots of fun giving the food out to all the students that came," Ahlants said.

"Everyone used their manners," said Kiianah.

Fantastic start to 2023

We are underway with quality working happening in many areas.  Letters are being written by the Year 6 students for student leader roles.  Some Year 5 and 6 will be off on a course to develop skills to be a PAL (physical activity leader) and everyone is keen to have classroom duties.

Each fortnight a student will be selected to create a post to add to our class blog.
